Kylie Jenner's $50 Million Fantasy Bra: A Jeweler Breaks Down Every Diamond

Kylie Jenner's $50 Million Fantasy Bra: A Jeweler Breaks Down Every Diamond

On October 18, Kylie Jenner walked the Victoria's Secret runway in the 2026 Fantasy Bra, a piece worth $50 million. No lace, no padding, no fabric at all. Just 18K white gold, 4,410 natural diamonds and one yellow diamond so big it probably has its own security detail.

We make diamond jewelry for a living, so we did what any reasonable jeweler would do. We ignored the wings, zoomed straight in on the stones and pulled out the calculator. Here is everything worth knowing about the most expensive Fantasy Bra ever made, plus how to borrow its best ideas for your own jewelry box without selling a kidney (or a small island).

What actually happened on that runway

Kylie closed out a surprise appearance at the 2026 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, held at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California. She became the first person who was never a Victoria's Secret Angel to wear the Fantasy Bra, and the first anyone has seen on a runway since Elsa Hosk wore hers in 2018. That is an eight-year wait, which in fashion years is roughly a geological era.

  • The look: white angel wings, a sheer mini skirt and the bra itself, with a fringe of diamond chains swinging from the band as she walked.
  • The soundtrack: Jade Thirlwall's "Angel of My Dreams". Very on the nose. We approve.
  • The cheering section: TimothΓ©e Chalamet, Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble, all filming from their seats like proud parents at a school play.
  • The reasoning: creative director Adam Selman said the idea was to give fans the Fantasy Bra they had been begging for, but put it on an unexpected star with massive cultural pull.
  • The review: Kylie posted behind-the-scenes shots afterwards with a two-word caption, "Best day ever." Fair.

Here is our favorite detail. Years ago, Kylie told fans her secret weapon was a Victoria's Secret Bombshell push-up, a bra that cost about $50. A decade later she is wearing one from the same brand worth $50 million. That is exactly a million times the upgrade. Talk about a glow-up.

The $50 million bra, by the numbers

The bra was made by New York jeweler Jacob & Co., and it doubles as the brand's 40th anniversary flex.

Detail Spec
Reported value $50 million
Total natural diamonds 4,410
Total diamond weight 1,373.39 carats
Center stone 75.54 ct Fancy Vivid Yellow, radiant cut, VS2 clarity, GIA graded (about $22 million on its own)
Flanking stones 2 round brilliant white diamonds, 11.85 ct together
Large accent diamonds 91 stones, 405.06 ct total, each between 5.01 and 18.59 ct
Small round diamonds 4,318 stones, 892.79 ct total
White diamond quality E to F color, VVS2 to VS1 clarity
Gold parts 3,218 individual pieces of 18K white gold
Labor 1,000+ hours by 15 master artisans

Our back-of-the-napkin math:

  • 1,373 carats works out to about 275 grams of pure diamond. That is more than half a pound of sparkle sitting on one ribcage.
  • Spread across every carat, the bra averages roughly $36,400 per carat.
  • The yellow center stone alone is about 44% of the total value. The other 4,409 diamonds split the remaining $28 million between them, which is honestly a little rude to the other 4,409 diamonds.
  • At around $291,000 per carat, that yellow diamond costs more per carat than a lot of American houses cost in total.

Decoding the $22 million yellow diamond

The star of the show is a 75.54 carat Natural Fancy Vivid Yellow diamond, and every word in that name is doing heavy lifting. Here is a quick 4Cs lesson using the most expensive example you will ever get.

  • Color: Fancy Vivid Yellow. With white diamonds, less color is better, which is why a D color stone is the prize. Colored diamonds flip the rules completely: the stronger and purer the color, the higher the value. "Fancy Vivid" sits at the very top of the intensity scale for yellow, so this is basically the diamond world's highlighter pen.
  • Cut: radiant. A radiant is a square or rectangular shape with trimmed corners and brilliant-style faceting. Jacob & Co. picked it because it bounces light back through the middle of the stone, which pumps up the canary color. That is why you see radiants so often in yellow engagement rings.
  • Clarity: VS2. Very Slightly Included. The tiny inclusions only show up under 10x magnification, so to the naked eye it looks clean. Nobody on that runway was checking with a loupe.
  • Carat: 75.54. For scale, the average engagement ring center stone in the US is a little over one carat. This one is roughly 75 engagement rings stacked into a single gem.

The takeaway for regular humans: if you love a yellow diamond, color intensity matters more than almost anything else, and a radiant or cushion cut will show that color off best. Six shapes, one brand new cut, four ways to hold a diamond

The 91 big accent stones come in six shapes: pear, round brilliant, heart, oval, marquise and the Angel cut, a proprietary shape Jacob & Co. debuted on this very bra. Mixing shapes is one of the biggest jewelry trends right now, and this piece is the most extreme version of it you will ever see.

To make sure light hits every stone from every angle on a moving runway, the jewelers used four different setting styles. You will find all four in engagement rings too:

  • Prong: small metal claws grip the stone. Lets in the most light, which is why it is the classic solitaire setting.
  • Eagle claw: pointed, V-shaped prongs that look sleeker and more delicate than round ones. A favorite for pears, ovals and radiants.
  • Bezel: a thin rim of metal wraps the whole edge of the stone. Super secure and very modern, great if you are hard on your hands. See our bezel set engagement rings.
  • Pave: rows of tiny diamonds set close together so the metal almost disappears. This is what makes a band look "paved" in sparkle, like these pave engagement rings.

How do you make a bra out of metal that someone can actually walk in?

Very carefully. According to Jacob & Co., the design started with one question: what if there was no fabric at all? The answer took more than 1,000 hours of work.

  1. Design in CAD. The whole frame was broken into 3,218 tiny parts and mapped on a computer, so each piece could flex against its neighbors.
  2. Cast in gold. Every part was cast in 18K white gold using the lost-wax method, then hand-filed and pre-polished.
  3. Shape it like lingerie. Articulated framing bars with soft knife edges rest along the ribcage, and the cups curve inward like a real fabric bra instead of sitting flat and stiff. The idea comes from the brand's Rare Touch collection, where metal is built to move like cloth.
  4. Set the stones. Fifteen master artisans fitted and set all 4,410 diamonds on a custom bust form.
  5. Add the swing. Fringe chains of round diamonds hang from the band so the whole thing moves (and sparkles) with every step.

Fun fact from our side of the bench: lost-wax casting is the same centuries-old technique our workshop in Surat uses to make our rings. Ours just use slightly fewer than 3,218 parts.

Thirty years of Fantasy Bras, and nothing comes close

The Fantasy Bra first appeared in 1996 on Claudia Schiffer as a "Million Dollar Miracle Bra". Prices peaked at $15 million in 2000 with Gisele BΓΌndchen's Red Hot Fantasy Bra, then cooled off to the $2 to $3 million range after the 2008 recession. Kylie's version blows the old record out of the water.

The 2026 Fantasy Bra is worth more than triple the old record

Reported value of selected Fantasy Bras, US$ millions

1996 Schiffer$1M
2000 BΓΌndchen$15M
2003 Klum$11M
2009 Miller$3M
2011 Kerr$2.5M
2012 Ambrosio$2.5M
2013 Swanepoel$10M
2016 Tookes$3M
2026 Jenner$50M

Even adjusted for 26 years of inflation, Gisele's 2000 bra would not reach $50 million. Victoria's Secret has officially reset the bar (and the bra).

How to steal the look for slightly less than $50 million

Good news: you do not need a Kardashian budget to wear the ideas behind this bra. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, with the same carbon crystal, the same hardness and the same fire as mined ones. The difference is where they come from and how much they cost, which is a lot less. (Still deciding? Read are lab-grown diamonds good for an engagement ring.)

Five Fantasy Bra moves that translate beautifully to everyday jewelry:

  1. The canary centerpiece. A yellow radiant-cut engagement ring or pendant gives you the same sunny drama as that 75 carat stone, in a size that fits on a hand. Start with our fancy color diamond rings.
  2. Mix your shapes. Pair a pear with a round, or an oval with a marquise, in a toi et moi ring or a cluster. It is the bra's whole design philosophy in one piece.
  3. Go eagle claw. Swap rounded prongs for pointed ones on a solitaire for an instant runway-sharp look.
  4. Add a little movement. Drop earrings and tennis bracelets catch the light the same way those swinging fringe chains do.
  5. Pave everything. A pave band adds a stripe of sparkle next to your center stone and makes the whole ring look bigger.
